Terms of Service

Welcome to Donde Travel. These Terms are an agreement between you and Donde Travel (“Donde,” “we,” “us”) governing your use of the app. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app.

1. Who can use Donde

You must be at least 13 years old to use Donde Travel. By using the app you confirm you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

2. Your account

You’re responsible for your account and for keeping your login credentials secure. You’re responsible for activity that happens under your account. Let us know promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

3. Your content and the rights you grant us

You own the content you create — your trips, places, notes, ratings, and photos (“your content”). You keep that ownership. To run and improve Donde, you grant us the following rights:

License to operate and improve the service. You grant Donde Travel a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to host, store, back up, reproduce, modify, adapt, and display your content as needed to operate, maintain, secure, and improve the app, to develop new features and products, and to show your non-private content to the friends you choose to share it with.
De-identified and aggregated data. We may create de-identified and aggregated data derived from your content and your use of the app (for example, trends, popular places, and usage statistics). This data does not identify you, and we may use and retain it for any lawful purpose, including analytics, improving and developing our products, and marketing.
Featuring content you’ve shared. We may feature or highlight content you have chosen to make non-private (such as a standout place or recommendation) in Donde’s own marketing and promotional materials. We won’t present it in a misleading way, and you can ask us to stop featuring specific content by emailing us.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties, and we do not show third-party advertising in the app. You’re responsible for the content you add, and you confirm you have the rights to share it (including any photos you upload). These licenses end when you delete the content or your account, except for (a) de-identified/aggregated data, which does not identify you, and (b) copies already used in materials distributed before deletion or retained as required by law or for backups.

4. Acceptable use

When using Donde, you agree not to:

Post unlawful, harassing, hateful, or infringing content;
Upload content you don’t have the right to share;
Attempt to access other users’ data, or disrupt or reverse-engineer the service;
Use the app to spam, defraud, or harm others.

We may suspend or remove accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Friends & shared recommendations

Donde lets you share non-private trips and places with friends you approve, and view theirs. Recommendations and ratings in the app are the personal opinions of users, not professional advice. Details like hours, prices, availability, and safety can change — always verify important information independently before you rely on it or travel.

6. Location & third-party services

Some features use your device location (with your permission) and maps provided by your device’s operating system. The app also relies on third-party providers to operate (such as our backend and email providers). Your use of those underlying services is subject to their terms.

7. The service is provided “as is”

We work hard to make Donde useful and reliable, but the app is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. We don’t guarantee the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that user-provided information is accurate.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Donde Travel is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including decisions you make based on recommendations found in the app. Your use of the app is at your own discretion and risk.

9. Ending your use

You can stop using Donde and delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete account, which permanently removes your data. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or to protect the service and its users.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the app evolves. We’ll post the updated version here and change the effective date above. Your continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
